This explains what happens to your information when you use Only Dan's Gardening Club at club.onlydansgarden.com. The club is run by Daniel, trading as Only Dan's Garden, a sole trader based in Glasgow, UK, who is the data controller for anything collected here. Questions or requests about your data can go to daniel@onlydansgarden.com.

What's collected

• Your email address and name, when you create an account
• A record of which guides you've bought and your membership status, so the right content unlocks for you
• Payment details, handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor, we never see or store your card details ourselves
• Anonymous counts of guide views and purchases, used to show what's popular, not tied back to who viewed what

Why it's collected

To create and run your account, deliver the guides you've bought, take payment and manage your membership billing, and to answer support emails if you get in touch. Nothing here is used for advertising, and nothing is sold to anyone.

Who it's shared with

Two other companies process data on our behalf: Supabase, who host the account system and database, and Stripe, who handle payments. Both are established providers with their own data protection safeguards. Nobody else gets access to your information, and it's never sold or used for marketing by third parties.

Cookies

The club uses one essential cookie, set by Supabase, to keep you signed in between visits. There's no analytics or advertising tracking on the site.

How long it's kept

Your account and purchase history is kept for as long as your account exists, so you can always redownload guides you've bought. Deleting your account from the account page removes your purchase history and cancels any membership straight away. Your login itself currently stays registered a little longer while that part of account deletion is finished, aside from anything Only Dan's Garden is legally required to keep, like payment records for tax purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask to see the data held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email daniel@onlydansgarden.com for any of this. If you're not happy with how a request is handled, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the date at the top of this page will be updated to reflect it.
